A little post with a lot of calories.

I just happened to have my camera on me today at the office. Two of my generous co-workers just happened to bring in homebaked goodies* to treat our staff. And we all just happened to end our work day two pounds heavier (and happier, so it was totally, totally worth it).

*Thanks to the lovely Margaret and Beth (who blogged about the above cookies here--they're under 100 calories each...which doesn't really help much if you eat like, five, right?).

I am all for inspiring myself with motivational sayings and positive thoughts. I mean, who doesn't want to be surrounded by the knowledge that "You can do it!" and "You're a winner!" and "Anything's possible!"

However, I contend that the below selections get muuuuuuuuuuuch more interesting when you read them out loud in a mockingly sarcastic manner.

Just try it out and you'll see what I mean. Hey--you can do it!

Falling in love with, um, David

I do not have a tattoo. But after seeing this art by David Corbett, I briefly considered getting one that said, "I Heart David 4-EVER!!!"

Then I remembered that I have a little brother named David. And that could catapult said tattoo into the "possibly awkward" category.

Also, ew.

So instead, I'm thinking about just purchasing one of his prints over at 20x200.com. Which, for all parties involved, is a much, much more comfortable decision.
