As a Philly native (and slightly homesick), this post made me so happy! Love seeing photos of my city, even if it does involve Rocky. How long were you there? Where did you eat? So many good foodie spots!
I was a rower in high school and we had a lot of races on Schuylkill River. As a reward for winning a race our coach would let us run the steps before heading home. I got a big rush of nostalgia looking at your photos.
Amy, I don't know Figs but I'm adding it to my list (even I am endlessly discovering the good-eats in Philly!). So many good restaurants to choose from, if you ever want a list, let me know! You should definitely go back!

Did you run the steps, too?
Of COURSE!
Lindsey: We were there for a day, and only had a chance to grab brunch. It was a place nearby called "Figs." http://www.figsrestaurant.com/
I am already planning on going back and hitting some of the foodie spots. It's such a cheap trip--I'd be stupid not to!
