Miami Heat
I had a lovely, hot, sweet n' sweaty time in Miami with my girl Zovig over the weekend. In an out-of-character move, though, I didn't really take a ton of photos. And that is basically because, in my world, bikinis and cocktails don't mix with cameras (sorry, boys) (you're welcome, Mom and Dad).
Nevertheless, here are a few details I snapped from the Shore Club, our home base for three full days. There was lots of Moroccan influence (hence yesterday's post on outdoor lanterns), a little hint of Art Deco, and really fun pops of color everywhere (My favorites? The green lampshades in our almost all-white room, the rainbow of throw pillows poolside, and the adorable shade of rose Zovig's nose turned after about an hour in the blazing Florida sun).

Can we start a contest to see who comes out with the best/funniest/cleverest comments on each photo? I mean, the overweight guy on the Segway admiring the Ferrari is screaming for tons of stereotypical comments, lol.
YES. Start up those comments! (Can you even BELIEVE the bro on the Segway??)
I am jealous! 3 days in the heat...with that pool.
Why does the weekend look 10x more fabulous through the lens of your camera. They take me back and I'm reminiscing as I write this.
