Emily Dickinson’s Garden. In the Bronx.

On Memorial Day, I hiked up to the Boogie Down Bronx to see "Emily Dickinson's Garden: The Poetry of Flowers," an exhibit that's currently showing at the New York Botanical Garden. It's a recreation (I love a recreation!) of the garden from Emily's Victorian Homestead--a beautiful little world of lilacs, hydrangea, and daisies (no wonder she never left the house...).

If you're in the city, get your geek on and hop up there. It's on through June 14. And for those of you who can't make it, here's a few snapshots of my trek:

I'm so glad you liked this! I work for one of the organizations that sponsored this event and it was awesome to see it pop up on one of my favorite blogs!
