Emily Dickinson’s Garden. In the Bronx.
On Memorial Day, I hiked up to the Boogie Down Bronx to see "Emily Dickinson's Garden: The Poetry of Flowers," an exhibit that's currently showing at the New York Botanical Garden. It's a recreation (I love a recreation!) of the garden from Emily's Victorian Homestead--a beautiful little world of lilacs, hydrangea, and daisies (no wonder she never left the house...).
