Hey, hyacinth.
So it's an off week.
I've been a bit sick.
I haven't slept really well.
I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft of my apartment building (riiiiiiight through that gap between the elevator and the floor).
And I have seem to have lost my photo mojo. For example, the pics of my One-Bouquet-a-Week Challenge? Not so great. All blurry. All to light-y or too dark-y. There were hardly any that came out. And you know hyacinth: they don't stick around too long. So I didn't get a chance to take another round.
Take a look at some of the stinkers:
They WERE, however, quite pretty in real life, and very much not stinkers in that they had that spring-is-here! smell that filled my kitchen. So although my camera didn't capture it well, my eyes and my nose did (at least, when I was actually able to get back into my apartment to enjoy them.)
Looking forward to a less sickly, less blurry week next week (along with a fab new key chain). See ya'll then!

Hey Amy,
Hang in there! By the way, I love your pick for hyacinths right before Easter. My grandmom used to give hyacinths to all the women in the family each Easter.
Also, I think one time Margaret dropped her pearl earrings in the elevator shaft at work.
Have a great weekend and next week will be better!!!

I love the fact that even when you're sick, you still have a great sense of humor. Feel better!
Depending on the type of camera, focus on the item the furthest back that you want to be in focus and the foreground will by default be in focus too . . . or at least that's what I think my prof hubby says. Good thing I have him to take the pics. And regardless, still lovely colors. Sorry about the keys.
Her PEARL earrings?? That would give me a heart attack. Keys I can handle; expensive jewelry, not so much.
I totally hear you, Amy. I've been sick for 9 days now and just am so tired of it! Here's to us both feeling better this week and getting back to our normal selves.
